Responsibilities:
- Critical analyses of the performance of hotel operations and the company operations from the monthly financial data.
- Write up the property Weekly update in English – translation from the Japanese weekly memo.
- Input monthly operation data and update monthly cash flow model.
- Prepare draft quarterly valuation of assets in English.
- Prepare the draft review report of assets in English.
- Collect market information, review, analyze and translate from Japanese to English.
- Translate documents/information from Japanese to English and vice versa.
- Undergraduate degree required; concentration in Business, Real Estate or related field of study preferred. Graduate degree a plus.
- Knowledge of general real estate terminology, business and market.
- Effectively Bilingual in Japanese and English, spoken and written.
- Strong ability to read and understand Japanese loan agreements, PSA, and various real estate related contracts and documents which are in Japanese.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong proficiency in Excel.

- Develop operational, leasing and/or disposition strategies to maximize asset performance. Prepare annual business plan for asset to articulate such strategies and execute the strategies accordingly upon client’s approval.
- Interact with Joint Venture partners and management companies to provide oversight on vendor selection, budgeting and operational activities.
- Possess and maintain deep knowledge of local real estate markets and evaluate asset strengths and weaknesses in light of market dynamics.
- Conduct/supervise analyses of revenue/expense budget and actual performance, development costing and schedule, asset disposition and other metrics.
- Provide comprehensive reporting (written and verbal) as per client’s directive.
- Act professionally as owner’s representative and be cognizant of client’s best interests in all situations.
- Represent owner to oversee construction project and supervise the project management company.
- Administer construction contracts and agreements.
- Undergraduate degree required; concentration in Business, Real Estate or related field of study preferred. Graduate degree a plus.
- 8-10 years’ experience in commercial real estate industry, preferably with 3 or more years in asset management. Candidate’s experience should span a wide range of property types.
