Training and Development at TriMont Real Estate Advisors
This is a sample of the training curriculums, programs and courses available to employees of TriMont.New Analyst Training Program (Annual)
Newly hired college graduates hired as Financial Analysts complete a curriculum that consists of classroom and ‘on the job’ training for a period of 8 weeks. Forty classroom training sessions are designed to provide new Analysts with an overview of TriMont and our unique position in the real estate industry. New Analysts will gain skills that can be immediately put to use in the analyst role, exposure to the various tools and applications used at TriMont, and exposure to and understanding of the teams and departments that make up TriMont Real Estate Advisors.
Career Development & Mentor Program (Annual) The Career Development & Mentor Program is an 8-12 week (length varies each year) program that allows employees a detailed exploration of TriMont and the Commercial Real Estate industry. By combining weekly courses on a variety of Real Estate topics, guest speakers, projects and reading assignment, along with a planned mentoring program, the CDMP helps employees improve their skills and prepare for new roles and challenges at TriMont.
Train the Trainer (On-going)
Designed for employees who are subject matter experts and are called on to deliver training, whether it is classroom, one-on-one, on the job or mentoring. The course is broken down into 5 classroom sessions and then one delivery session where you will give a 10-minute presentation that will be videotaped. You will receive feedback from other students as well as a one-on-one feedback session reviewing your taped performance. The sessions run a maximum of 3 hours each. Some of the topics in the TTT include: The Learning Environment, Adult Learning Principles, Presentation Skills, Questioning and Feedback, Controlling the Classroom, Improving Training and more.
Personal Development Courses (On-going)
TriMont offers a variety of internal courses designed around personal and professional development. Some of the courses include:

This on-going curriculum is designed for those who have ambitions to move into Management levels of TriMont, or who are newly minted managers who would like to enhance and improve their leadership skills. Using a combination of internal and external courses (both on and off site) the courses provided in depth knowledge of Management and Leadership skills through a variety of training topics and styles.
